Shari Baker Ed.D.
Interim VP, Organizational Advancement & Consultant, Professional Learning & Growth
AACTE

Shari Baker, Ed.D., leverages her more than 10 years of experience in education and diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) work to create a more equitable and inclusive world for all. She has counseled C-suite executives on all DEIJ matters and served as an executive leadership coach, effectively collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders and brokering partnerships. I have also led multiple client account teams and advised them on DEIJ strategies to improve their campaigns and outcomes through inclusive communications, thought leadership, storytelling, and policy reform or development.

Baker is also a co-founder and consultant of a DEIJ and anti-racism training company, where I provide comprehensive and customized professional development, strategic planning, and program management to schools and businesses. Furthermore, Baker is an adjunct professor at the University of Florida, where she teaches doctoral students in the School of Education. Baker holds an Ed.D. in curriculum and instruction, an M.Ed. in minority and urban education, a BA in cultural anthropology and education, and certificates in human resources and diversity and inclusion. She is a lifelong learner who loves sharing her multicultural, multiracial, and multinational perspective with the world. Baker’s goal is to further implement equity and social justice throughout the organizations she works with and to empower others to do the same.
