Students and Alumni Benefits
Your journey in education doesn’t end at graduation. As a student or alum of an AACTE member institution, you’re part of a national community committed to preparing great educators. You have a network behind you, mentors who’ve been where you are, and a voice in the future of the profession. Here’s how to make the most of it.
AACTE LEARN
AACTE Online Learning for Leaders, Educators, and Advocates
Online courses built by and for AACTE members, focused on the real challenges you face in educator preparation. Learn on your schedule and bring practical strategies back to your program and your institution.
Create and Manage Your Profile
Make sure you get the updates and opportunities meant for you. Create or update your member profile to choose what you hear about and how you connect with AACTE.
Submit Your Work to JTE
Submissions are accepted year-round, and undergraduates can submit too.
Publish in Ed Prep Matters
Students and alumni can share stories and program news anytime.
Start a Holmes Program
The Holmes Scholars® Program mentors and supports students from underrepresented backgrounds as they prepare for careers in education. As a Holmes Scholar, you’ll join a national network of peers and mentors. You’ll also get professional development, and you can present your work at AACTE events.
Is your campus not part of the program yet? Talk to your dean or faculty advisor about bringing Holmes to your institution. They can schedule an interest call with AACTE to get started.
Browse the Career Center
Whether you’re graduating soon or ready for your next move, the AACTE Career Center connects you with employers looking for educators. You can browse new openings in teaching, educator preparation, and higher education as they’re posted. Set up job alerts so new listings come straight to you, and upload your résumé so employers can find you.
