This professional exchange provides structured opportunities to engage with Singaporean counterparts through dialogue, collaboration, and shared learning. Participants will take part in small-group discussions with educators and institutional leaders, interactive Q&A sessions, collaborative problem-solving, presentations from Singaporean experts, and comparative conversations about shared challenges. The exchange is designed to be collaborative rather than observational, emphasizing mutual learning, meaningful dialogue, and relationship building.
Through high-level exchanges with university leaders, policymakers, and practitioners, participants will gain insight into innovative approaches to educator preparation, leadership development, workforce challenges, and educational excellence. The experience also provides opportunities to build lasting global partnerships that can strengthen participants’ institutions and advance the educator preparation profession.

Why Singapore?
Singapore is widely recognized for its sustained commitment to educational excellence, educator development, and system-wide innovation. Its approach to teacher preparation, leadership development, and educational policy has been the subject of significant international study and serves as a valuable point of comparison for U.S. institutions.
Through direct engagement with universities, schools, policymakers, and educational leaders, participants gain first-hand insight into how an education system aligns preparation, practice, leadership, and continuous improvement to meet national and institutional goals.
Rather than simply observing another education system, participants engage in critical reflection and comparative analysis that can inform strategic thinking and institutional decision-making in their own contexts.
