Join AACTE for the Fall Virtual State Leaders Institute, a premier gathering for leaders of state educator preparation organizations. This event provides an opportunity to stay informed on the latest policy developments, strengthen association leadership, and connect with colleagues from across the country to exchange ideas, resources, and promising practices.
This year’s program will feature keynote speaker Michelle Exstrom, Education Director at the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), who will provide a post-election analysis and discuss implications of election outcomes for educator preparation policy and practice.
In addition, attendees will participate in sessions focused on effective advocacy, emerging policy issues, and practical strategies for leading and managing state associations. Through expert insights and peer learning, participants will gain valuable knowledge and tools to support their organizations and advance their work in educator preparation.
