This session will bring together five former chairs and members of the AACTE Board of Directors — Jane Bray, Ed.D., Ann Larson, Ph.D., Wanda Blanchett, Ph.D., Monika Shealey, Ph.D., and Michael Dantley, Ph.D. Each of these distinguished leaders, who currently serve or have served as deans of colleges of education and graduate schools across the nation, is deeply committed to advancing educator preparation and is recognized for exemplary leadership in higher education. During this session, they will engage with attendees to explore strategies for navigating leadership in today’s ever-changing educational landscape.

About the Presenters:

• Jane S. Bray, Ed.D., is currently an Executive Coach with Academic Impressions and previously served as dean at Old Dominion University.

• Ann E. Larson, Ph.D., serves as dean of the College of Arts, Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences at the Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania.

• Wanda Blanchett, Ph.D., is a Distinguished Professor at Rutgers University and has also served as Provost and Graduate Dean.

• Monika Shealey, Ph.D., is dean of the College of Education and Human Development at Temple University.

• Michael Dantley, Ph.D., is CEO of Med Consulting and formerly served as dean of the College of Education at Miami University.
