The 2022 Elections and the Impact on Educator Preparation

In 2022, one-third of the Senate, the entire House of Representatives, dozens of governorships, and scores of state and local seats are up for grabs.  The results will impact local, state, and federal public policy for at least the next two years.  In this webinar, Michael Rose, AACTE’s senior director of government relations, will share how the 2022 election results will impact education policy, including educator preparation and other issues important to AACTE and its members.

Mike Rose leads AACTE’s engagement with Members of Congress, congressional staff, and various federal agencies. In addition, he represents AACTE in multiple coalitions to ensure that teacher educators’ voices are represented and heard. Rose served for more than eight years as a congressional staffer in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, and he has more than 15 years of government relations experience in the private and public sectors.  Rose is a graduate of Muhlenberg College (PA).
