(Feb. 2, 2017, Washington, D.C.) – The American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) is pleased to announce the 2017 recipients of its annual awards for best practice, professional achievement and writing and research. The following universities and individuals will be honored during AACTE’s 69th Annual Meeting in Tampa, Fla., March 2-4:

The AACTE awards program annually recognizes excellence in both member institutions and individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of educator preparation. By honoring notable programs and practices, professional accomplishments, and writing and research, these awards encourage all member institutions to strengthen the profession of educator preparation through innovation, high standards and leadership.
