AACTE to Present Outstanding Book Award to Kieran Egan for The Future of Education: Reimagining Our Schools From the Ground Up

(Feb. 17, 2011, Washington, D.C.) – The American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) will present Kieran Egan, Ph.D., with its 2011 Outstanding Book Award for his book The Future of Education: Reimagining Our Schools from the Ground Up. The AACTE award, which recognizes exemplary books that make a significant contribution to the knowledge base of teacher education or of teaching and learning with implications for teacher education, will be presented at AACTE’s 63rd Annual Meeting & Exhibits in San Diego.
