Forum to Spotlight Evidence, On-the-Ground Exemplars, and How to Scale Up

WASHINGTON, DC (February 16, 2010) – Growing evidence indicates that a rigorous clinical education for prospective teachers is the foundation for instructional success in our public schools. In the first in a series of policy briefings to impact ongoing teacher quality efforts, the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) will host a national forum on the clinical component of teacher preparation on Thursday, March 11 at the National Press Club.
