December 23, 2021 – Join Colleagues to Discuss the Pandemic’s Continuing Impact and Plans for 2022 – As PK-12 schools, colleges, and universities around the country cope with a surge of coronavirus cases, and concerns rise regarding the Omicron variant, AACTE is offering a webinar to look back on the pandemic’s impact on educator preparation and discuss plans for 2022.

February 25, 2021 – New AACTE Report Tracks EPP Response to COVID-19 and Racial Injustice Crises – Discover findings from both April 2020 and October 2020 surveys, tracking the evolving response of EPPs to the twin crises.

November 9, 2020 – Webinar Features Results of AACTE Survey to COVID and Racial Injustice Crises –  Attend the webinar on Wednesday, November 18 highlighting reactions from leaders in the field of educator preparation and how AACTE can support its members.

October 2, 2020 – AACTE to Launch Member Survey on Coronavirus and Racial Inequity Crises – To better understand and meet the needs of its members, AACTE is launching this survey on how educator preparation programs are impacted by and reacting to the twin crises.

June 3, 2020 – Survey Shows Widening Gap in Supply of Teachers Coming in the Fall – Education leaders’ outlook for the 2020-21 academic year anticipates a widening gap in the supply of new teachers, according to the April 2020.

AACTE Adjusts Events in Response to COVID-19

October 1, 2020 – AACTE Issues Official Statement on its Virtual 2021 Annual Meeting – AACTE decides it is in the best interest of its members, sponsors, education colleagues, and strategic partners to host its 2021 Annual Meeting as a virtual conference, February 24-26.

September 14, 2020Explore Leading in Difficult Times during AACTE’s 2020 Leadership Academy Series –  In keeping with innovating its professional development opportunities during the current pandemic, AACTE is offering the 2020 Leadership Academy Serie, virtual interactive sessions beginning this fall under the theme, “Leading During Difficult Times.”
