January 4, 2021 – New Year, Renewed Hope – AACTE shares 2021 federal policy priorities with the Biden-Harris transition team, including ensuring sufficient funds for PK-12 and higher education during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to operate schools safely.
November 30, 2020 – AACTE’s President/CEO Reflects on Using Virtual Simulation in Teacher Prep During Fireside Chat – Mursion CEO Mark Atkinson hosted Lynn M. Gangone, who reflected on how the pandemic has shaped the need to collaborate and to think differently on the delivery of instruction in the P-20 setting.
September 22, 2020 – Navigating an Unpredictable Pandemic – AACTE releases state recommendations for educator preparation programs and new teachers during COVID-19.

May 7, 2020 – AACTE and Mursion Collaborate to Support Teacher Preparation through Coronavirus – New collaboration offers virtual reality classrooms to advance learning for future teachers.
October 1, 2020 – AACTE Issues Official Statement on its Virtual 2021 Annual Meeting – AACTE decides it is in the best interest of its members, sponsors, education colleagues, and strategic partners to host its 2021 Annual Meeting as a virtual conference, February 24-26.
September 14, 2020 – Explore Leading in Difficult Times during AACTE’s 2020 Leadership Academy Series – In keeping with innovating its professional development opportunities during the current pandemic, AACTE is offering the 2020 Leadership Academy Serie, virtual interactive sessions beginning this fall under the theme, “Leading During Difficult Times.”
