About Dr. Gainsburg
Dr. Julie Gainsburg serves as Chair of the Department of Secondary Education for one of the largest teacher preparation programs in California. Along with overseeing her department and teaching at California State University, Northridge, she publishes research about mathematical expertise of engineers and teacher development.
About Dr. Rodriguez
Dr. Jacqueline Rodriguez is the Vice President for Research, Policy, & Advocacy at the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) where she leads the strategy and content development for the association’s scholarship, programs and professional learning, state and federal policy, and advocacy initiatives. She is an experienced teacher, teacher leader, and professor. Her research focuses on providing all students equity and access to high-quality education and educators.
