Strategies in Internationalizing Teacher Education: Global Read Aloud
Are you looking for opportunities to connect your teachers and teacher candidates with classrooms around the world? Join Shea Kerkhoff, Ph.D., for an AACTE Lunch & Learn about The Global Read Aloud — a virtual, international learning opportunity founded by teacher Pernille Ripp in 2010 with the vision of one book to connect the world. It has expanded into an annual learning event held each October with millions of children and teachers connecting to read and discuss books. In the session, Kerkhoff will walk through the process of getting connected with the program and how to engage with both teacher education and K-12 examples.
