Leaning in and Leading Through Crisis
Join our Education Deans as they discuss how to lean in and lead through the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact of systemic racism on campus and within their communities.
We have each experienced an incredible shift in our personal and professional lives. Educator preparation leaders, specifically, are managing the twin crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic and racial injustice within and across the nation’s institutions. As equity-minded leaders, Deans addressed faculty and student needs by starting with empathy and ending with action.
This webinar is a follow-up to our Annual Meeting Deeper Dive: Leading in the Time of Crisis. Our presenters will move beyond describing the adjustments they made during the crisis. They will expound on how educator preparation leaders can, and should, lean into moments of crisis in order to lead faculty, staff, and students through to a new, more equitable normal.
