The 2025 Holmes Research & Dissertation Retreat will be hosted November 7-8, in partnership with Boston University. Join colleagues for this dynamic gathering designed for Holmes Scholars, offering space to write, connect, and grow as researchers. Participants will engage in sessions on dissertation committees, funding, publishing, and research methods, plus peer support in an energizing academic community.

Registration is set to open in early August.

Who Should Attend: Holmes Scholars (required at least once during your tenure), doctoral students, and master’s students planning to pursue doctoral study. All other AACTE student members may register starting October 1, if space allows.

Three Tracks: Prospective/First-Year Doctoral Students, Approaching Candidacy, and Doctoral Candidates.
