AACTE CEO Search

The search for the next transformative President and Chief Executive Officer of AACTE (American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education) is now under way.

In December 2023, President Lynn M. Gangone, Ed.D., CAE announced her plans to retire after seven years of dedicated service. The Board of Directors and members of AACTE are thankful for the deft and thoughtful leadership of Dr. Gangone.

The Board of Directors has elected an internal search committee to lead the search process along with an external search firm. The search committee will manage the search effort with the goal of appointing the next president and CEO before the end of the year.
