The Louisville Urban League will bring a nationally known education leader to Louisville this week as part of its 2011 Annual Report Luncheon.
Sharon Porter Robinson, president and CEO of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, will be the keynote speaker at the luncheon. It will be held Friday, Dec. 2, at the Hyatt Regency Louisville, starting at 11:30 a.m.
Robinson, a Louisville native, formerly was president of the Educational Testing Service’s Educational Policy Leadership Institute. She also was assistant secretary of education with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Educational Research and Improvement.
