(Feb. 17, 2011, Washington, D.C.) – The American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) will honor Vernon Polite, the late dean of the College of Education at Eastern Michigan University, with its prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. The award will be presented at AACTE’s 63rd Annual Meeting & Exhibits in San Diego.
