AACTE to Present Imig Award for Distinguished Achievement in Teacher Education to Camilla Benbow of Vanderbilt University

Washington, D.C. (February 17, 2010) The American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) will name Camilla Benbow of Vanderbilt University as the 2010 recipient of its David G. Imig Award for Distinguished Achievement in Teacher Education.

Benbow is dean of the Peabody College of Education and Human Development at Vanderbilt University. AACTE will present her with the award on Sunday, February 21, at its 62nd Annual Meeting & Exhibits in Atlanta.
