AACTE to Present Outstanding Dissertation Award to Dr. Winifred Cohron, Warren County Secondary Schools, Bowling Green, KY

Washington, DC (February 17, 2010) The American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) will present Dr. Winifred Cohron with its 2010 Outstanding Dissertation Award for her study on the impact of teacher leadership on student achievement.

The award will be presented during the Charles W. Hunt Lecture on Sunday, February 21, at AACTE’s 62nd Annual Meeting & Exhibits in Atlanta, GA. The award recognizes excellence in doctoral dissertation research that contributes to the knowledge base of teacher education or of teaching and learning with implications for teacher education.
