- AACTE is a partner in the Consortium to Enhance Postsecondary Education for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. It conducts research, provides training and technical assistance and disseminates information on promising practices that support individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Just recently, it developed and launched a new Web site, www.ThinkCollege.net. The Consortium is funded by a grant from the Administration on Developmental Disabilities.
Note: The Consortium is led by the Institute of Community Inclusion at the University of Massachusetts in collaboration with seven University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCED) – Delaware, Minnesota, Hawaii, South Carolina, Tennessee (Vanderbilt), Ohio, California and the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD).

The information is for transition aged students as well as adults attending or planning for college. It provides resources and tools for students, families, and professionals.
Some features include: monthly newsletter, searchable database on postsecondary education options, literature, resources, training events, and conference information.
