Professional Development & Events

Get involved through AACTE! Whether you participate in an event, join a topical action group, nominate someone for an award, or volunteer for service on the governing board or committees, there are many ways to connect with fellow members and advance the profession as well as your own career.

AACTE Washington Week

AACTE's Washington Week is held each June in the nation's capital and features three key events: Day on the Hill, the State Leaders Institute, and the Holmes Scholars Summer Policy Institute. For 2015, we will also offer a special conference (free of charge!) on closing the STEM achievement gap. All four events are connected under the theme "Washington Week: Diverse Perspectives, Deep Partnerships, One Profession."
