AACTE is seeking proposals from educators and administrators alike for its 2014 Annual Meeting in Indianapolis. Proposals selected for presentation at the 66th Annual Meeting will call on the profession to sharpen its focus in the face of opposition through the theme Taking Charge of Change. The four strands which support the 2014 Annual Meeting theme are:

• Owning School Performance
• Creating Innovative and Culturally Relevant Pedagogy
• Evidence of Impact – State of the Art
• Advocating and Implementing Change That Works
