To Thursday, April 03, 2014
The National Association of Holmes Scholars Alumni (NAHSA) would like to invite early career faculty in education related fields, particularly Holmes Scholars starting their careers and early career NAHSA members, to participate in a Tenure Academy. A pre-conference to the American Educational Research Association (AERA) annual meeting, April 3-7, 2014, the Tenure Academy will be April 2-3, 2014 in Philadelphia, PA.
This event will provide participants an opportunity to discuss critical issues facing the tenure and promotion process with nationally recognized researchers and faculty, assistance designing and implementing individualized tenure and promotion agendas, and post-Tenure Academy support during the tenure and promotion process.
Individual registration is $125. Universities and colleges with institutional NAHSA membership can register up to four faculty members at no additional cost. There is no registration fee for NAHSA members and current Holmes Scholars. Registration must be completed by March 15, 2014.
For more information and to register, visit www.nahsa.com.
NAHSA, working in conjunction with AACTE, is nationally known for its development of Holmes Scholars, alumni and faculty from underrepresented groups.
