|Thursday, October 31, 2013 |
3:30 p.m.- 4:45 p.m. EDT
Kentucky educator preparation programs have teamed up with state, regional, district and K-12 classroom leaders to create a more coherent, comprehensive, and sustainable statewide professional learning system that supports all educators and meets the promise of the Common Core State Standards. Join AACTE and the Kentucky Association of Colleges for Teacher Education for the first of a two-part webinar series to learn more about Kentucky's experiences and successes through the Transforming Professional Learning project. Panelists will discuss the KY-P20 Innovation Lab as well as how they are developing mentor teachers as change agents and translating the Common Core standards for higher education faculty, among other topics.
This webinar is FREE for AACTE members courtesy of a grant from Learning Forward, which recently released the brief Seizing the Moment: State Lessons for Transforming Professional Learning to highlight lessons learned in its role as a lead national partner in the Transforming Professional Learning initiative.
