AACTE Membership and Dues Task Force

New Dues Schedule Adopted by AACTE Membership

AACTE has adopted a new dues schedule by majority of votes cast by the AACTE membership. Please click here to view the new dues schedule. The new schedule will go into effect for the 2009 dues year, and invoices will be mailed in May/June of 2008. Member Chief Representatives had the opportunity to cast a vote for or against the new schedule during a four-week voting window that closed at midnight on March 28th. The voting results have been certified by the AACTE Tellers Committee. For more information, contact the AACTE Membership Department at membership@aacte.org or refer to the article about the new dues schedule in the May issue of Briefs.

NEW DUES SCHEDULE
(to be implemented for 2009 dues cycle)

Under the proposed new dues schedule, each institution would pay a yearly dues rate determined ONLY by the productivity ranges below. The proposed dues schedule is based on self-reported productivity data (defined as students graduating with initial or advanced degrees in various teacher education licensure fields) that will be downloaded from the Department of Education’s Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). IPEDS recognizes nearly 100 different types of teacher education licensure programs as reported through your institution’s central administrative office via CIP codes.
